Hey D. Neff,
I used to work for you at Tellan and CyberCash. It was always rumored around the office that you dabbled in art, but I had no idea just how beautiful your work is. Happy to see you living the American Dream. Wish you and your family all the best. and please give my best to Jeff, Aurelia and family if you happen to speak with them.

Hi -I saw your work at the sadly one and only Los Gatos Artfest '04(any news about a 2nd /did Los Gatos heArt take its place?) Yours and Kevin Coulters were definitely my favorites (your coloring in the 1st place piece was electric!) I like your 'sousbois' pieces the best; poetic, with an intimate sense of space, yet full of lively color (the Kennedy Road pieces are great.) I am also a plein air painter since last October, and would welcome any advice/feeback/connections you care to share. By the way, kudos for your free association to/support of other artists on your website; very generous. There are a lot of great county parks here in Almaden (quicksilver trail, etc.) -have you painted out here much? Good luck and thanks for inviting the comments Kevin - San jose PS Some of my stuff is on my 'dayjob' decorative arts website www.kevinkasikart.com

Donald, You probably don't remember me, but when I was in high-school (30 years ago in Texas), you inspired me to make a career in information systems. Thanks. It has been a good career (now we are ready to do something else). You also indirectly inspired my wife and I to encourage our kids to follow their creativity, and now with both close to college graduation, looking at careers in the arts, I want to thank you for that too. Donnie, The last time we met we were at an Imperial reunion at Tahoe in 1999. You were selling your software company. I was doing my R&D thing, stuck in the room writing a paper for an Aggie convention. Looks like we both found the avocation we were seeking. You paint and I consult and hunt. Your work is inspiring. Do you write poetry also?

of your art is of the calibre that forces lesser artisans to seek pacts with the devil to compete. P.S. Hey, how are with children's book illustrations? I'm writing some stories for my kids, and I'm in need of an illustrator.

The pictures of the paintings are great, however the real-life versions are even better.
We hope that you open a gallery soon, perhaps in Scottsdale?
