I was honored last night with First Place in the Monterey Bay Plein Air Painters Member show, “Coastal Passions” at the Pacific Grove Art Center, Pacific Grove, CA. The show was quite strong, with a lot of great paintings, and it was the first time I have shown with this group. I painted the piece during the California Art Club paint out last January.
